A Passion for Stone That Started Young
Shiny Stones was born from a lifelong connection with natural stone. The journey began during school holidays, working alongside family in the stone restoration business. What started as simply helping out with the family trade soon became something more.
Watching the work up close, day in and day out, created a real appreciation for the skill, patience, and attention to detail that go into properly restoring natural stone, and for the difference it makes when a job is done right.
That early experience never faded. Years later, that same passion was rediscovered and pursued as a career, completing a full apprenticeship in the trade alongside a Business Management degree, combining hands-on restoration skills with an understanding of how to run a professional business.
That combination of trade expertise and business know-how is what shaped Shiny Stones into the company it is today, one that carries forward the legacy first learned from family, now brought to homes and businesses across Melbourne.
